Expressive Lion - Original Drawing
Original Charcoal Drawing
22×30 Bristol Vellum Paper
"Expressive Lion" was created out of a personal desire to see what I could do with expression drawing.
Drawing not only for mastery but also to challenge myself to work more efficiently. This is one of the first pieces where I ditched the details. It’s a piece that captures the base form of the lion, stripped down to its basic form, yet still powerful in its presence. This work represents the balance between discipline and freedom, a reflection of my journey as an artist—always striving to improve, while staying true to my artistic journey.
